We know marketing, but we also know food.

We. Love. Food. We are true foodies. And, pretty much daily, our conversations veer towards what everyone wants for lunch. (This usually starts right after everyone has had their first cup o’ joe.) We try out new eateries all the time, sprinkle in our favorites as cravings hit, and thought we’d share some of our top picks around Bend with our favorite foods at each. We’re passionate about marketing, passionate about food, and it’s great when our passions collide and we can market food for our clients!

Café Yumm – If you haven’t tried a Yumm bowl, you need to give them a whirl. You can even purchase their sauce and make your own creations at home!

Croutons – This place has become a weekly staple at the office; Wendie can’t get enough of their Mixed Berry Salad with chicken – this is one of her favorite picks!

Dandy’s – Keeping it old school on skates, and no website; it’s just a short walk away, and super delicious. Make sure you get a strawberry shake and French fries, and don’t forget the fry sauce!

Fire Bend – Did you see our Facebook post in September where we took down almost four pizzas in under an hour? Our fav – the Yukon Gold Potato pizza. Don’t question it, you’ll fall in love too!

Ida’s Cupcakes – Not a day goes by when sweets aren’t mentioned within our four walls; very few days go by when cupcakes aren’t mentioned. We can’t even begin to tell you which ones we love, but we all have our favorites – Penny loves the coconut combos, Kasey goes for caramel and Tiffany loves the peanut butter chip.

Kebaba – If you haven’t been yet, you need to try it out. They’ve turned a cute, brightly colored house into an amazing restaurant. And the Chicken Schwarmas? They’re to die for.

Los Jalapenos – If Cali didn’t bring lunch, you know what she’s picking. The latest order contained Bean, Rice and Cheese burritos. Need we say more?

Nancy P’s – There, literally, isn’t one thing in these bakery cases we don’t love. The scones, the iced shortbread, and the bagel pockets are amazing. AND, did you know they have something called a brownie puddle? We can’t imagine life without them.

Newport Avenue Market – It’s hard to write a foodie blog without a shout-out to one of our favorite clients. The deli has something to appeal to everyone; Kasey always goes for a Nancy’s Panini, and you can’t walk out without an OMG brownie.

Noi – We’ve headed to Noi for several of our office gatherings. We always feel special at their middle table. And that crispy garlic chicken with coconut rice? Nothing beats that combo.

Roszak’s – Their existence is such a secret, they’re not even online. The restaurant is right across the street from us, though; and it’s become a staple over the years. It’s a great place for client meetings; and when we need to unwind, there’s nothing like their iced tea in a corner booth.

Spork – It can easily be said that we frequent Newport Avenue…a lot. Have you tried the Carnitas Sando from Spork? It’s Tiffany’s favorite (although she wishes they would double the amount of Yuka chips)!

Stackhouse Coffee – A new favorite for brainstorming sessions. The cardamom lattes are the perfect afternoon pick-me-up, especially when you get one of Sparrow’s Ocean Rolls on the side.

Brother Jon’s Public House – While it’s not a quick pick for lunch, it’s definitely our after-work choice. The mac and cheese or burgers and fries are amazing and never leave us feeling hungry. They also have one hell of a Bloody Mary!
